The Power Of Knowing About Your Past Life

Many people believe in the idea of reincarnation, which is about the thought that people had a previous past life and that past life is said to have been affecting the current life in terms of self soul searching. People from all over the world: Japanese, Australian aborigines, Africans, modern Wiccans and many other New Age religions, have a strong belief on this idea.

What you are now and who you believed you are now is an influence of your past life including your health, your mental well being, and your social interactions are all influenced by your past life. This is why it is important to know yourself, who you are and what you are in the past, to be able to make yourself better and stronger in this current life.

How can you tell you have a past life? You may not be able to, but in many cases you will have disturbing dreams, or memories while you’re awake that do not belong to you. Many people who believe in reincarnation believe that we all have past lives (though if you do the math, it’s more probable that there are at least some new souls!)

Other indications:

* A strong love or attraction to some culture that you were not exposed to and that makes no sense in your current life. If you love Mesopotamian art, for instance, you may have a past life from that region in the era you find interesting. Learn more about the art that interests you; if it all comes from a distinct and relatively small time period, that’s a pretty good indication that there’s something there.

* Abnormally strong emotions about some incident in history if, for instance, you tear up when you look at Washington Crossing the Delaware but not at any other revolutionary art, you may have been involved in that incident in a past life.

* You might be experiencing different allergies or problems that were not previously present or detected or you might have some psychological or physical problems that you cannot explain which might be linked to your past life.

This is of course, not an extensive list. Having such indicators does not mean that you are actually remembering a past life. Observe the patterns of your life, the range of things that you find attractive for some reason. You may be able to tune into some of the likenesses that can aid you in piecing the idea of what your past life or lives may have been like to live.

Self-hypnosis can help you to access the past life you once had. If you can not do it, ask for somebody to help you through hypnosis. Most of the therapists who do past life regression are specialists as well in helping people know their past life. They usually do it by using a form of deep hypnotic procedure.

If you decide to use self hypnosis to access your past life yourself, look for a technique that doubles as a deep relaxation method. Try to work with this technique for a while before using it for your regression.

If you are worried about your safety, no significant matter can disturb you while in process. You will only recall your past life through the regression and you might possibly experience back what happened in your past life but only in a vivid pictures or shadows.

As you recall your life in the past, it will generate after effects in your feelings. If you feel good, your past life could have been good. If you feel bad after the process, your past life could have been bad as well. Although some memories and past life events are not good for you, it does not mean that you will have the same bad fate in the current life. It is only a recollection of your past life for your benefits.

It is the remembering of this past life, which is important; and once you have remembered, you can start to move on. It is only the subconscious suppression of these memories which causes problems. By understanding and accepting what happened in the past you can start to experience this present life with a totally different outlook.

The philosophy of Karma says that when we are good examples in one life, while being committed to positive and kindly acts offer us good karma. As a result, for good, we receive good vibrations in our future lives, unless we become bad examples. If this happen, then our personal Karma changes and negative vibrations follow us throughout our future lives, until we suffer from them and then commit to becoming a good example in our own lifetime.

However, there does seem to be some confusion about this interpretation. Some individuals do not believe we are destined to suffer from any bad things we deserve because of one of our past lives. They believe that with each new life, we are born anew, with the choice to do as we please. After realizing that a particular memory is from a past life, we are no longer bad examples and we can continue on, enjoying our present life.
